Visualisation Technique Part 3

As a hypnotherapist I have been fascinated for a long time by the knowledge that we can affect our own health in major ways often through simple and most importantly, natural ways, and to be curious about just what we can achieve with the power of our own mind.

I hope that this information helps you to view looking after your health as you age as an act of self-love.

What is really interesting is whenever we have a project or goal, we create a picture in our minds of the out- come, whether we are very aware of that or not. It is something that will come into our awareness even if only as a flash, when we think of that goal or project. I believe that it is very important for us in maintaining our commitment to improving and maintaining our health to create a picture of how we want our health to be. A strong picture will help you when making decisions about such matters as diet, exercise, health practices, rest, sleep and so on.

I know I have a picture of how I want my health to be and I never see myself as anything but healthy, with all my faculties, being physically active and most importantly, productive. It is there in the background when I am buying food, when in a restaurant, when I get up in the morning and I am deciding what to eat and when to exercise, and has prompted me to do as many of my health practices as possible in the morning before I do anything else so that they actually happen. That is what works for me.
